​​​Danish-born anthropologist Catharina E. Santasilia connects academic research with public outreach. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of California, Riverside, with a focus on Mesoamerican archaeology. Currently, she works as a teacher, archivist, and researcher, concentrating on Scandinavian mid-century modern, digital, and ancient art collections, while promoting the dissemination of cultural knowledge.​​
